I've meant to ask you from time to time—and I do now because I just listened to them—but have you ever heard Legion of Green Men? 90s electronica (from somewhere here in Ontario) that seems up your alley. If you've heard Dugga Dugga Dugga, the "Drill" cover album, they turned in my favourite version, which combined "Drill" with "I Am the Fly."

I haven't even heard of them. I'll give them a listen today, thanks!

I'm on it. They're one of those bands where I say "I'm sure I'll get into them later in life," and I'm rarely wrong about that. In fact, Floyd was one of those bands, to tie into current conversation.

The deluxe edition/remaster of this. Adam Ant has done a superb job of mixing this, one of the best sounds I've heard on CD. A nice warm analogue feel a brilliant mix.

Y'all might be familiar with this Australian collage artist who goes by the name Pogo via this:


I've been checking out other stuff of his on Spotify and youtube. Jesus fuck, it's both listenable and something to just marvel at the skill involved in taking all these non-musical bits, maybe a second long, from all kinds of sources and fashion them into songs. For grumps like Simon Reynolds who bemoans postmodernity and the end of musical creativity, this guy is a helluva forceful rebuttal.
