Hey Kory, take a look at the complete design for that Postmarks album I offered up a few pages back: http://www.brianhilldesign.com/cd-the-p ... the-world/
Jesus Christ, it is fucking gorgeous.

It is quite nice, though I have one quibble with the interior, with the album appearing to be called "Memoirs at the of the End World." Quite like the back cover which hits that retro button nicely.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Feb 2018, 3:11pmHey Kory, take a look at the complete design for that Postmarks album I offered up a few pages back: http://www.brianhilldesign.com/cd-the-p ... the-world/

Fair point. An odd choice on the designer's part, really.Kory wrote: ↑20 Feb 2018, 12:32amIt is quite nice, though I have one quibble with the interior, with the album appearing to be called "Memoirs at the of the End World." I'm not even close to precious enough about design to care about things like that. I really think a lot of design talk is like wine tasting. Bullshit.

We reach. I'm like that when it comes to academia and teaching. The work itself is mostly decent, but the pedagogical shop talk it's immersed in is largely garbage. It too often comes off as excuses for why students hate a shitty class.Kory wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 5:23pmI'm not even close to precious enough about design to care about things like that. Opinions? I think it grabs the eye quite well, especially given that it's so busy in terms of colour and objects. The only thing I don't like is the curve of his name. Get rid of that entirely and it'd be quite satisfying.

I think it's great especially after some of the dour covers he's had in recent times. It's bright and fun and it's busy just the right amount. No problem with the curved name logo it works also.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 12:07pm
