Don Letts Social Classics Volume 3
Don Letts Social Classics Volume 3
I'd forgotten about Social Classics Volume 3: Dread Meets B-Boys Downtown - The Hip Hop Sound Of New York 81-82, and had a look for it. Amazon have it, used at £188, plus p&p, and even e-bay works out about £30. Is it worth the latter?

Could you build the tracklisting yourself? Even to buy them individually from iTunes?

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I've been playing his dub reggae collection for about 10 years, it's excellent.dave202 wrote: ↑03 Apr 2018, 1:25pmYeh, I'll probably do that.Silent Majority wrote: ↑03 Apr 2018, 12:59pmCould you build the tracklisting yourself? Even to buy them individually from iTunes?

Really looking forward to listening to this one. How much do you reckon Letts would have made off writing a list of great songs down and sending them off to a PA to get permission to use them? Not a bad racket if you've got a respected name.
