I won't listen to either ever. However very few people mistake VI for good music or take it seriously. People listening to VI (Hoy excepted?) don't take it seriously, the same unfortunately cannot be said for Phil Collins.Marky Dread wrote: ↑14 Nov 2018, 6:39pmI'll take Phil Collins all day long over that crap. I would of course prefer to be deaf.
And that is the distinction I was making.

Well the thing here is that VI is simply crap full stop. Phil Collins has been involved in a lot of musical projects down the years and has made some good music. Phil has not always been a maker of pop music. Phil is a very solid drummer and clearly has a talent. Ice on the other hand is a pastiche of the worst kind. It's not about liking either artist but just an acknowledgement of talent.revbob wrote: ↑14 Nov 2018, 8:45pmI won't listen to either ever. Phil just ain't cool to like because he is bald, unlikeable and wears terrible jumpers and slacks. Yes, he has released some musical war crimes, and I don't have many songs by him, but to bracket him with Vanilla Ice is just silly. For an example of Phil's talent check out the drumming on Easy Lover.

I'm sure there is a support group for tired old pop stars like Kaleb and yourself to attend.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑15 Nov 2018, 8:04amIs this how Kaleb felt when he was known as Billy Joel?Marky Dread wrote: ↑15 Nov 2018, 7:41amMaybe we just call you "Phil" from now on.
