Yeah, that first verse I spose.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

My recollection is that none of the Mermaid Avenue songs had music written for them before BB and Wilco took on the chores.

Ken Burns' Baseball soundtrack, including "Joltin' Joe DiMaggio," "Say Hey (The Willie Mays Song)," and "Did You See Jackie Robinson Hit That Ball?" (and nine thousand versions of the Star Spangled Banner). Apparently Burns is working on a 10th Inning for Baseball, which will cover, among other things, steroids and the 2004 Red Sox (Burns is a Sox fan). A professor friend of mine who's a Civil War guy had lunch when he was a grad student with Burns. Said that he's never met a more arrogant guy, and Bill was someone who found the good in pretty much everybody.

And The Baseball Project, which Flex had donated some months ago.

Sultans of Swing sort of sounds like The Sultan of Swat, but they're English, so I doubt it.
I was thinking "Walk of Life" which isn't about baseball but has a bunch baseball, basketball, and football clips in the video. And one of the lines is " Yeah, the boy can play".
I'm sure, in his heart of hearts, Knopfler is always thinking about how much I hate him and Dire Straits.
Corrected.
Further corrected for full credit.

I have 4 or 5 albums of baseball songs (some compilations, some from specific bands). I'll do an upload bonanza this weekend.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Jonathan Richman has that Walter Johnson song.

Then there's songs that have a mention of baseball, Mrs Robinson would be one.
