The A-F/RBF tour seemed designed specifically for me, and possibly no one else. Sadly, wasn't able to make it when it rolled through Colorado.

Don't know if I'll make either of these shows but I see CJ Ramone and in June the Specials are coming to town. How's the Specials been the past few years?

Saw the specials a few years ago and it was almost a religious experience it was so good. High recommendation.

Thanks for the input. I'm hoping I can swing that one.

Sorry, I meant I saw them a few MONTHS ago. They rule. Must see.

I went in preparing to say the same thing, but they put on such a good show I was won over several times over. I get that it's hardly the band it was at their peak, but these days they're a damned good touring band again.

This ticket arrived in the post today. Woo hoo!

Fuck it all ... I didn't get to see this show last night because I was in hospital for a procedure I really needed to have done.

I was given the choice of a March 8 date (a cancellation on the doctor's schedule) or sometime in late April. Reluctantly, I chose yesterday ...

And I actually obeyed doctor's orders and stayed home so my wife (that would be the long-suffering Mrs. Spiff) could call for help if the bandage keeping my blood from gushing out failed or if I had a bad post-op reaction to the anesthesia.

Damn, it sucks being responsible.

So far, blood not gushing out of my body. :shifty:

(Yes, the operation seems to have done what the doctors promised it would.)

I hope this won't have a negative impact on our plans for drunken debauchery when I'm in town.

Who's left in the band now? Horace, and anyone else?

O.G. guys:
Lynval Golding
Horace Panter
Terry Hall

All the other guys are from 2008 or more recently. Gary Powell, from the Libertines, is currently drumming with the band, which is about as good a replacement as you're gonna get for Bradbury.

That's not too bad, I suppose. Would be nice to have Neville there too, but I read that he left due to health concerns.
