I'll defend more of Oasis than most would on here, but the stuff I've heard from his solo stuff has been totally dire. Devoid of content. I saw him on Graham Norton, sat next to Chris Rock, and Rock was clearly hilariously baffled by this man who seemed so beloved while without talent.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑22 Oct 2017, 6:41am… unless the leaders or the world unconditionally surrender to him.Liam Gallagher says he’ll deliver a second solo album

Bald is better than anything Ive seen on those Gallaghers. I went to school with a different Gallagher and even he had one of those bad haircuts is it genetic?Marky Dread wrote: ↑22 Oct 2017, 7:59amYou are asking a bald man that question. Re: The Mighty Musical Observations Thread
The two songs I've heard from the album are typical late Oasis sounding fayre. I think they are simply OK. I saw Liam on that GN show and felt he was out of his depth. That being said it was obvious he didn't want to be there. He was sweating heavily throughout and wanted to get off for a shower. He asked GN twice if he could leave.Silent Majority wrote: ↑22 Oct 2017, 8:00amI'll defend more of Oasis than most would on here, but the stuff I've heard from his solo stuff has been totally dire. I'm saving up my money now to buy Doc one of these.
Dr. Medulla's Lonely Hearts Club Band
I've got this image in my head of Doc with his Beatles wig on and wearing his CtC sweatshirt and dancing like a crazy man to "Three Girl Rhumba".

Yeah but rock n' roll is total parody. You can be as inventive as you like these days but it's very rare it doesn't instantly resemble something else. Not defending the Muppet but it's just how it is.Heston wrote: ↑22 Oct 2017, 2:36pm"For What It's Worth" is toe-curling stuff. These days, I'm torn by a "better late than never" attitude towards my intellectual curiosity and physical condition, and a regret that I hadn't been more disciplined and demanding when I was in my 20s. I really was a case study in youth being wasted on the young.
