How the hell has this been unknown to Western civilization?

Hello,

I've had this on the Party Party soundtrack. It's pretty good - Elvis singing Party Party is worth a listen by itself.

Speaking of weird covers:
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

That was pretty fun. In a Naked City kind of way of course.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Into the Valley of the Dolls is a 10/10 punk song. I'd underrated it because of where Billy Idol went, but it came up on shuffle and I got to struttin'.

It's not so strange as people think . Banarama's first single was produced by Pistols drummer Paul Cook. The girls lived at the Denmark St. rehearsal room for a while.

Yep some fun stuff on that album. The Costello track is great.
