Do any of the Limeys remember this song, a number 12 hit in 1982? Great pop song, and seems way ahead of its time, despite sounding retro...

Love it, curated it, still play it, lovely voice great song.

Brilliant, great find, techically brilliant, both tunes work well together and the video topped it off.

Yep definitely remember it.
Surprised such an Asiancentric song / video made #12 in 1982!!
Remember Japanese Boy by ? reaching No.1 around that time though it’s a bit more on the pop side to be fair. Blancmange’s brilliant Living on the ceiling had a bit of Asian vibe about it too I thought.

I don't normally go for such a thing but thought it was pretty cool.

A really good mash-up always amazes me at the ability of the creator to both hear what could be and the skill in putting it together.

Part of it is probably because I usually hate the songs to begin with.

This is an oldie but a goodie

The fact that its not Danzig but someone making Danzig-like vocal utterances really brings it home

Was just reading a bit on wiki and came to the bit where the singer said it was a hit everywhere except in Japan because "they thought it sounded too Chinese." Just gotta love the whole weirdness of 80s pop.
