Wow, I've found someone else on here who likes them after ten years. Not a huge fan of their other stuff but agreed about that album, it's a corker.Low Down Low wrote: ↑11 Apr 2018, 4:11amGreat album that by a hugely underrated and influential band.

Hearing that record for the first time as a kid made me realise that Irish music didnt have to be all Brace yourself Bridie, diddley-aye polka dot reel set after set. A real eye opener. I'm certain a young Shane MacGowan, among others, would have heard it at some point and come to the same conclusion. The Tain is probably their best after Book of Invasions while the last one they did, the acoustic Roll Over, is pretty decent too. Have seen them play a couple of times in the past few years and they can still do it live. Like I said, never got half the credit they deserved.Heston wrote: ↑11 Apr 2018, 9:32amWow, I've found someone else on here who likes them after ten years.
