Listening to the new remasters of the final two Cocteau Twins albums. Y'know, I think the technology has finally gotten to a point where pinheads like me can hear real distinctions over earlier versions, even previous remasters. Most of the time, when people would rave about remasters I'd be stuck in "Homer Simpson, smiling politely" mode. But no, okay, even I can hear something different and more interesting now.

I find if you edit the pic and make the smallest change and save it then post it and it comes out properly

Hello,

The Neanderthals had Eddie Angel (Los Straitjackets) and Johnny Rabb in it - two Albany, NY guys - both pretty job (Eddie - guitar, Johnny - vocals).

Hello,

Green Day - Saviors. If you liked Dookie, you'll like Saviors. There's a lot of hooks, a lot of harmony, and a lot of energy - pretty straight-forward punk-pop stuff. I'm enjoying it.

The new-ish Rubellan remasters of the Oingo Boingo catalog are sparkling and lovely.

Yeah, I'm definitely getting that. I also wound up grabbing the Passions' third album from him on the strength of these OB ones. I wish he had done those Banshees remasters from ages ago.
