Hello,

Parliament - Greatest Hits. Funky. Funny. Compilation. These tracks flow really well - as if it were a traditional album rather than a compilation. Really good grooves, head bopping stuff.

I have been to on an island for the weekend. It's pretty isolated and the only radio you can get is the island AM station however it only plays pop music from 50's, 60's and 70's.
Have to say there was a lot less sh#t than on the usual commercial FM stations!!!

Not a Gene Syphalimmons cover album, but one of Jarboe's more rock-inspired albums, tho not rock as most would think of it. In some respects, the most Swans-like of her albums.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Middle-aged white guys are the best arbiters when it comes to judging the best hip hop, especially suburban middle aged white guys so someone like me edges you out you city folk.

I picked this up rather cheap on the strength of the song Hanging Tree, very cool album. Kind of a bluesy soul r&b garage sound. I didnt realize until looking on the credits that Lisa Kekaula pf the Bell Rays handles the vocals, great voice but very different from what you hear in the Bell Rays or the James Williamson album of Stooges songs she guests on. Worth checking out.

I cannot believe its been like 15 years since their last album. They've been on hiatus about as long as they were active.

Would you like to see them produce more, or are you satisfied with their untouchable legacy as-is? I go back and forth on it. I'm really glad The Clash never reformed, but with these guys, it's hard to see them misstepping if they were to do something new.

Love these guys. I guess more on the Bunnymen/Furs end of the post-punk spectrum in terms of dynamics and songwriting, but better than both of them, I would say.

Pretty big claim there, mate. Can you post something to back it up?
