She Said Yeah - TKO.
Crazy, I heard "She Said Yeah" driving to work on satellite, and "Empty Heart" driving home.
Ha! cool times man.
yes, 5 minutes of my hour x2 commute was awesome :)

We just moved, my 25 minute each way commute turned to an hour each way. But I got a raise. :meh: I wake up earlier now, and I;m always sleepy. Cut down on my movie watching time.

I found this somewhat rare gem recently, and it's very nice listening for a Saturday morning.

My big phase at the moment is a playlist continuing all the work of Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Patsy Cline, & Hoyt Axton. It works.

A lot of the aggressiveness of their delivery has held up well. It pairs nicely with the sparse accompaniments.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

The beats aren't as stilted as some of the old school eighties rap, but mixed a little awkwardly. Exciting, timeless stuff, I think.

Some of the novelty stuff like "You Talk Too Much" and "You Illin" are awful, but the 83/84 stuff still has a great energy. I'm still partial to the Tougher Than Leather singles as well which show a lot more flexibility with the vocal interplay. The 90's stuff is awful though.

Just got introduced to this post-punk group that I'd never heard of. Pretty interesting, nuanced stuff. The little I've read on them has been comparing them to Josef K, The Passions, and the Au Pairs. I wouldn't say they really sound like any of them, but there's a sense of them sort of fitting in with that group.

After a bit of a listen, I think I'd put them more in with The Sound, The Comsat Angels, and Sad Lovers & Giants.
