1. Search and Destroy - Stooges
2. Burn It Down - Suicide Commandos
3. Everything Is Broken - Dylan
4. Piece of Crap - Neil Young
5. The Earth Died Screaming - Tom Waits

Honorary mention: Dylan's "Tempest", the destruction-iest song ever written - all 45 verses of it! (actually the whole album gets that honor too).

I should have picked Kill City. Search and Destroy is awesome.

I remember I only started it to spite you.
Yeah but you mellowed and your spite ran out. Handed the baton to me like you were getting rid of the plague. ;)
You've done well to keep it going mate. Once we ran out of bands that more than two people could provide a list for I thought the game was up. You've done well to reinvigorate the thread with a different slant.
It could've become an Albatross but we've done PiL and Fleetwood Mac already.
Yeah, I'm still reeling from the stick I got for daring to do Fleetwood Mac. I really should have been doing bands like Dinosaur Jr and Social Distortion.
We kept trying to tell you but there you were with your Kajajaroos and Shawaddowdaddys.

Yay, someone finally volunteered a Meat Load top five after 3 years of me waiting.

I find Meat Loaf and all those overblown jim Steinman productions really boring. If they had taken a more traditional rock n roll approach to those tunes they could've been great as Meat has a great rock n roll voice.

His song from the Rocky Horror soundtrack is perfectly cromulent.

I've become a fan of the HUGE rock n roll theatricality of Meatloaf.

I like it and Meat should've stuck to that formula. His music would've stood the test of time instead of all that pompous nonsense. Meat Loaf's music sounds incredibly dated.
