It's looking more and more like England is not the way to go...
Ottawa is definitely a solid town if it could be done. I'd even play frisbee with you and invite you over for sherry during full moons.
What can you tell me about cost of living vs. the kind of money people make on average in the area?

Here's a couple links:

https://ottawa.ca/en/city-hall/budget-a ... mographics

One thing about Ottawa is that as a government town, it's more immune to recessions. It's not as cosmopolitan as places like Toronto or Montreal, but because of all the embassies, it's not totally bland either. I really do like the city, and I've never been all that attached to any city I've lived in. It just feels comfortable, lots of green space, and shit's always going on.

Oh, it's further away from Toronto than my addled memory was telling me. Doesn't look like a possibility. Unless there's a really fast train?

Heh, there is regular train service, but it's several hours (and not that cheap).

The Snake With Eyes of Garnet
More Pricks Than Kicks
Gabrielle
God Help Me (Jesus & Mary Chain)
Victoria

Honourable mention to Ghost Town & Happy Song. Nips songs I wanted to replace Gabrielle with but simply couldn't justify.

Plus one for the Christy Moore version of Aisling over the Popes', what with it being a song and not a chaotic mess of noise like the latter.

2) That Woman's Got Me Drinking
3) The Wild Rover with Sinead O'Connor.
4) So Pissed Off (Nips).
5) Granuaile

I think the Snake is a great album I love the whole album.
