Are all Smiths songs just about the record company and I was too dense to realise?

It's you. The meat in Meat is Murder is the cold sound of digital pushed by the recording industry, and Vicar in a Tutu is about David Geffen serving hamrolls.

1. Bring Me The Head Of David Geffen - Mojo Nixon & the Toadliquors
2. Pull My Strings - Dead Kennedys (this song has perhaps the best chorus of any song ever)
3. EMI - Sex Pistols
4. Complete Control - The Clash
5. Rough Trade

Obviously, most of the real top songs have been covered, but here's some more good ones:

1. Reel Big Fish - Sell Out
2. NOFX - Dinosaurs Will Die
3. Jeffrey Lewis - Don't Let The Record Company Take You Out For Lunch
4. GZA - Protect Ya Neck
5. Against Me! - Unprotected Sex with Multiple Partners
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
