I do miss all of the women who have left. Thnk goodness for Mimi.
This is true (both parts). Alyssa, JulieJazz, and cretin in particular were/are solid dames. I also enjoyed the goofy enthusiasm of Suzanne as she plunged from one obsession to the next.
Same. They are all on Facebook, so I haven't completely lost touch, but I liked having them all on here.

I was actually a little worried I got a little "obnoxious" with this thread (as in talking a bit too much)!? :scared:

Sunday was a weird night. Family get together with a few too many Bloody Mary's (you can tell it has gotten festive when the ingredients get fewer and fewer and pretty soon you're just drinking tomato juice and vodka) and then made the poor choice of picking up a 6-pack of Red Stripe on the way home - which I then proceeded to drink while standing at the kitchen counter with my laptop.

I chalk it up to the long, cold Wisconsin winter finally getting to me (and I didn't have my kids this weekend) - but I tend to get a bit verbose when I have a few too many and then the next day it's like what did I say the night before?

I, for one, am outraged by someone talking too much here! Shame, shame, and, I dare say, shame! :shifty:

That's me every weekend in the KISS thread.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

My heart beats a little faster Saturday and Sunday mornings when I see that that thread has been updated.

Remember when eumaas was a teenager? Now he’s 87!
Well, he was always 87, in a rabbinical way.
I was just going to say that he's always been 87.

TwoMinutesHate. Her name is Sarah. First person from the board I ever met in person as we lived in the same town.

I think this board is fairly welcoming of new people. I think like in real life as long as you comport yourself in a friendly manner you'll be welcome.
