In Chicago, McDonald flushed them at a White Sox game, skipping Wrigley Field because the Cubs are longtime rivals of the Mets.
That's the first I've ever heard of this rivalry.

I don't buy that. I'd accept Boston as one of the worst, if not the worst, for racial abuse from the stands, but the only place? Just off the top of my head, St. Louis and Phiadelphia have gotta be in the running.
