Done and done.

Real talk: I’ll believe it when I see it. I know he and Bryant are friends, and the rumors of him coming over have been rampant for a while here, but I highly doubt he’ll avoid other deep-pocketed suitors entirely.

So, Red Sox fans before 21st c. success shifted us into a species of Yankees fan?
Ask around. The Cubs are getting there too.

When I lived in Queens it was just a 15 minutes subway ride to New Shea and you could get into a game for $20. Hop into Donovan's Pub for a few pops on the way in and I'd have a pretty good night for under $50. It was hard not to fall for the lovable Mets.
I've never been to their new stadium (nor the new Yankees stadium either), been to the old one plenty of times. The old one sucked planes taking off all the time. In 86 I could not bring myself to root for the Mets. I suppose the die hard fans are fine but there were so many bandwagon jumpers it was horrible.

I always thought the Pirates would be a good NL team to follow. Have they done anything reprehensible lately?

They were more fun when they were doing coke.

I miss Jim Leyland smoking in the dugout.

I like the planes taking off. New Shea it pretty good, nice do do a lap of with a beer in between innings. New Yankee is like a mall. Stan’s is still there which is good.

Allo, Pierre, gimme the Alouettes by a rouge over the Stampeders. I've got three blue bills and eight purple ones, so I'll bet those.

When I first saw that with blurry morning eyes I thought that was a shower curtain. So naturally I presumed you were a guest at Chateau Medulla.

They stink - but they keep beating up on my Brewers. Big series this coming weekend. Milwaukee needs to finish strong - but they had a big series against Pittsburgh LAST weekend and the Pirates took 2 of 3.

Impossible. The dungeon blocks wifi.
