Outdoor concert venues is a thoughtful inclusion. Not real gone on them either and, as much as Joe approved, I'm not down on Festivals much either.

An indoor venue has to stink on ice before I will prefer an outdoor show.

The only caveat I would add is I would take any standing outdoor gig before an all seated indoor one. Unless its a trad or folk session in a small, homely bar, I've just never felt right sitting down to watch a gig.

In my experience the sound often sucks. An exception is Forest Hills Stadium in Queens which is an excellent venue.

I did see Brian Setzer in an amphitheater near Atlanta that had excellent sound. Other than that, yeah.

Hey, Phil Collins soulless, rote version of Can’t Hurry Love just came on and I hear certain wrong people like it. They even think it “swings.” Which is absurdly wrong.
