So sorry coffeepotman.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Oh man, sorry to hear this.coffeepotman wrote: ↑26 Mar 2017, 5:47pmWe just lost our beloved Mookie, 18years old, suffered from kitty dementia, kidney disease and lost his hearing. He declined quickly, starting having night terrors about 3 weeks ago. Poor thing but I think he was ready, he lived a good life. Born to a crackhead in Bushwick Brooklyn and purchased at just days old for 5$. Fed him and made him healthy, lived in a house with a back yard in Queens then got to life in Puerto Rico for 4 years with my sister in law and spend the last 10 years of his life with me and my wife in the city. He will be missed terribly, I've never had to go through this before so it's especially hard but the procedure was actually really nice and painless. My wife held him the entire time and he just went to sleep.

Thanks guys, it really means a lot, even though most of us are strangers, I check here every day and feel like I know you. So many band forums come and go but this is one of the few that thrives and I hope so for a long time....and it's for a band that we all despise

Sad news mate sorry to hear this. Sounds like he had a good life and you saved him from god knows what kind of life he may have had.coffeepotman wrote: ↑26 Mar 2017, 5:47pmWe just lost our beloved Mookie, 18years old, suffered from kitty dementia, kidney disease and lost his hearing. I'm so sorry coffeepotman - 18 years is a great life, but as I always say, the only fault of our pets is that they never live long enough. It sounds like Mookie had a great life with you and your family.

No I've never lived in queens but it is where my wife's family is from, Ridgewood. He was with her sister for his first 9 years, 5 in Ridgewood and 4 in Puerto Rico before he came to us.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑27 Mar 2017, 11:26amcoffeepotman wrote: ↑26 Mar 2017, 9:50pmThanks guys, it really means a lot, even though most of us are strangers, I check here every day and feel like I know you. Just back from the vet, taking the girls in for their annuals. Usually it's Zoë who pees in her carrier, but today it was Charlotte. The carrier was also on my lap, so I got to spend the check-up with a pee-soaked thigh. Sorry, ladies, he's taken …

My cat has learned that punching at my eyelids with front paws while I'm in bed is an effective means of getting a consistent rise out of me at 2:56am. It now happens 5 times a night.
