President Curly Neal sounds like a cool idea until you look closely at his obsession with the flat tax, which would have crippled the middle class and collapsed the social safety net. Geese Ausbie had a troubling flirtation with eugenics in his youth, plus later connections to organized crime, but his commitment to universal health insurance and breaking up corporate monopolies made him the far more appealing Globetrotter.

Someone sent me an .xspf file attached to an e-mail message.

I couldn't open it, so I Googled ".xspf file extension" and found out that .xspf is pronounced "spiff" :shifty:

Ford knew that his Globetrotter-esque showboating during the primaries against Reagan would come back to haunt him.

True fact: I've had Geese Ausbie on various death pool lists for several year, but the dude refuses to die!

Some guy told me I had a nice patch of moss or something like that, referring to my hair. Moss = hair, that's a new one on me.

Dennis Eckersley calls "good" hair moss when he's in the booth. But Eck always speaks in some kind of baseball beat lingo, so it doesn't sound quite as silly or affected when he does it.
