I … have no snarky rejoinder. :-(
Abject depression is the best defense.
I should feel invincible then, smart guy.
If you don't, then it's clearly time for me to make my move to usurp you.
You are going to feel so pissed off at me when you find there was nothing worth winning. Some books and an iPad, I guess.
It's not things I want, buddy.

It was a different sensibility than the Simpsons, but it was no less intelligent or funny. The boss quotes KotH more than any other show, I reckon.

I loved and I probably missed half the reference jokes.

Got a plumber cutting up our living room ceiling—some kind of leak from the upstairs shower or tub—right now. He's a young guy with a distinct Irish accent. It's placed me in an intellectual crisis because you guys have taught me that all Irish are drunken boors, lazy subhumans, and incurable thieves (e.g., Beaneater), yet he exhibits none of these traits. Are you all wrong and I've been living in a cloud?

Your new journey into erotic short stories is off to a promising start.

When I was writing my dissertation, my brother, whom I don't really keep in touch with, apparently thought I was writing a romance novel. So, yeah, the fates are aligning.
