I really, really hope they make it. It will be so hilariously bad.
The only people who might see it will be Disney's lawyers.
No doubt.

Oof, I hope that they don't do something so contrived. In the same way as Anakin was out of nowhere, why not Rey?

Still haven’t seen Solo. Can’t bring myself to care much after Last Jedi.

I absolutely do not believe this.

Solo is a lot of fun. For people who thought TLJ was too dark and plodding, Solo is a tonic.

Also, I watched The Last Jedi for the first time since last Christmas in the theatre. Liked it a lot more this time around. I still think its pacing is problematic and it relies on some dubious plot devices, but thematically it was a lot more affecting and bold than I initially believed.

Crap, we missed the 40th anniversary (17 Nov 78) of the Star Wars Holiday Special, something so bad as to defy kitsch.

If it lets in women and people of colour to ruin my childhood, hard pass.

Fuck yeah. And with Palpatine seemingly involved, all the major figures have come back and get a send off. Star Wars will always be something where I kid because I love. Even when it's bad, it's still Star Wars, so it's good.
