I know this is totally off-topic, but can I just say that I absolutely despise Chelsea Handler? I think she's about as funny as Dane Cook and about as attractive as Shane McGowan's mouth.BostonBeaneater wrote:Reality whore Sharon Osbourne

Also, I realized as I was watching Life on Mars yesterday that I was wearing a shirt that looked almost exactly like one the John Simm was wearing in an episode (slighly less clownlike collar, but still oversized). I felt shame.
It's fucking awesome. I burned through season one yesterday. I normally don't watch a lot of cop shows, but adding the sci-fi element makes the whole damned thing a lot more interesting. Very strong acting, characters and sense of place, too.eumaas wrote:Enjoying the show?
You should never feel shame about looking-like/emulating John Simm. Never.Flex wrote:I should get a hat like that. Then people can be like "hey, look at the guy in the stupid hat."

I didn't feel shame that I was emulating John Simm, but shame that I was emulating 1973.JennyB wrote:You should never feel shame about looking-like/emulating John Simm. Never.Flex wrote:I should get a hat like that. Then people can be like "hey, look at the guy in the stupid hat."

I've long imagined that's what longhaired nerds with fedoras and trenchcoats thought.Flex wrote:I should get a hat like that. Then people can be like "hey, look at the guy in the stupid hat."

I could understand if it was James Taylor in 1973, but even 1973 is awesome with a little bit of John Simm.Flex wrote:I didn't feel shame that I was emulating John Simm, but shame that I was emulating 1973.JennyB wrote:You should never feel shame about looking-like/emulating John Simm.
