Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Ha, ha! Yes - that is a great name for it! Neighbors invited the kids and me over last Saturday evening. Their daughter is becoming fast friends with my daughter (both 6 years old) and that is exactly what we had for dinner. Pretty much perfect. Kids splashed around in the pool. Adults knocked back a few. Temp was hovering in the low 90's. Good times!BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑12 Jul 2018, 9:16amI believe that's called a Milwaukee Night Special.WestwayKid wrote: ↑12 Jul 2018, 7:47amGrilled corn on the cob, a brat, and a cold beer out of the bottle on a hot summer evening - outside on the patio.

It's an easy recipe you can fuck around with without wrecking the dish. Sounds worth checking out. I have to say though that most corn these days is pretty tasty. I stopped adding butter years ago. I do recall the corn we would sometimes get when I was a kid certainly needed it though.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑12 Jul 2018, 10:20am

Great on fish finger or beefburger sandwiches. Otherwise it has to be brown sauce all the way.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑14 Jul 2018, 12:27amHow do you English fuckers feel about ketchup? Curious.

As long as you don't lag your food in Ketchup its fine, you can kill the taste of anything if you use enough of it, it is fairly sweet but if you use just the right amount its great, fried egg sandwiches, Sausage Sandwiches, Bacon...personally I like brown sayce too but have to check the ingredients as I'm Gluten intolerant, if its got Malt vinegar then no, spirit vinegar is fine though, as Rasta say: ModerationBostonBeaneater wrote: ↑14 Jul 2018, 12:27amHow do you English fuckers feel about ketchup? Plenty of ground black pepper though

We had a sizeable raspberry bush in the backyard where I grew up. One of those things that you don't appreciate as a kid, but, holy hell, would I love that now.

As a kid we had LOTS of wild raspberries and we would just devour them. I pulled some wild ones from the woods and then bought a few of the cultivated varieties. I've got some that are one and done and others that will produce into October andDr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Jul 2018, 4:45pmWe had a sizeable raspberry bush in the backyard where I grew up.
