Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

I’ve been laughing almost to tears because it’s so damn perfect.

Interestingly enough (and Jon'll know this already), in William Strauss and Neil Howe's four generational type structure, before Xers, the last one of their type were popularly known as the Lost Generation, the ones burned out by the Progressive Era, World War I, the Roaring 20s, and the Depression. Which is why I especially enjoyed that screen cap—as I said, deeper truth.

Heh. And I heard that in John's voice, too.

I actually read most of this, I really couldn't be bothered to finish it, but what I read was really funny. Some people who didn't get it got so upset it was hilarious. I'm early (1967) GenX and would not want to be anything else. To come up in the 80's underground through the 90's freakshow was the best time to be alive. I'm sure others will say that about their generation but I really don't care what they have to say.

All I want is a job where I keep my head down and get paid and am otherwise left alone.

Exactly. I want to come in on time, leave on time, and just do my job. I don't need promotions. I don't need a wacky game room.

I would also like a boss who's not a complete maniac and who doesn't have Munchhausen's by-proxy, but that's neither here nor there.

I miss having a non-crazy boss. It’s been almost 9 years.

I honestly don't know if I have ever had a non crazy boss. But there are definitely degrees of crazy. I've had a couple who are charmingly crazy. The one now is toxic as fuck crazy.
