The funny thing is, though, my biggest high school trauma was the school in the Jortsville. I came in as a senior and I listened to different music than everyone (which was a big deal, for some reason). I was bored all year because they wouldn't let me take AP classes as a new senior. I was sexually harassed by a guy and his group of friends who mostly still live here. I really didn't connect with anyone at that school. I self medicated that entire year because I was so miserable. But the dreams always take place at my Denver high school, which was so large that I was able to find my people and lead a somewhat OK high school existence. I actually loved my school in New Orleans. So it's just funny to me that the dreams never take place at my school here.
Perhaps Denver was just the most school-like setting of your school years, so, good or bad, that's what your unconscious reverts to.

But, without a doubt, if we'd gone to high school together, we would have hung out. :approve:
Totally. And we would have just sat on the hill smoking cigarettes and making fun of the jocks and cheerleaders and Korys.
Fixed for reality.
Doubtful. Unless you were a jock or cheerleader. Although if you were a male cheerleader, that may have been different. But I would have still made fun of you for having school spirit.

The other common theme in my dreams is that I can't see. Im not blind but I cant see things.
That's fucking wild. So is your dream a conscious blackness around you or is there any kind of awareness of shapes and stuff?
I can see some things but not what I need or want to see. Like I'll be driving and can't see. They are stressful dreams

Yikes. That's a nutcrusher. Back when I still drove, I was often seized by the idea that I was invisible and other cars might smash into me.

If we had a game—electric guitar, if we were marching—auxiliary percussion (cowbell, cymbal, etc.). It was a prereq that if you were in the jazz band you had to be in one other band, and since I didn't play a wind instrument, I got stuck in pep.

I had a dream that I can barely remember. But involved a bunch of us being in our early 20s and living together. Other details are hazy at best.

I believe this to be the first time ever that anyone from ICMT has been in my dream/nightmare.

Not quite, but close enough, Tep was sort of the Vyvyan of the group.

The Boss, who rarely recalls her dreams, related her dream from last night in which we were traveling in the US by car and I was being an obstinate jerk, a slob, collecting tree branches and filling the car with them, and generally frustrating and ruining things for her. I said to her, That was no dream!.

More like a prophecy. I look forward to photos of your tree branch collection.

Lots of dreams of late, most fade too quickly. Last night I dreamt I met Reggie Jackson. I was 2018 me but he was 1978 him. We chatted about baseball and parenting. I had someone take a pic of both of us together. Then I went to upload it to IMCT but it wasn't on my phone.
