It's become enough of a compelling spectacle narrative now—failed votes, mass protests, coups—that it's got me checking the Guardian every couple hours for the next dramatic turn. From my position a few thousand kilometres away, it's become this story where you can't guess the ending or how it gets there. I'm sorry my LImey friends are living thru the uncertainty and distinct possibility of deeper turmoil that will compromise their well-being, but it is nonetheless mesmerizing to witness the facade of governance, where the faith that those in charge know what they're doing is key to their authority, just crumbling away and it achieving a momentum of its own. In other nations and other time periods, this would be where the revolution or military coup happens.

Just to be clear Andrew Neil is non-discriminatory when it comes to a good savaging:

Will there be another vote?
Might join in next time and tip the balance.

I’m guessing yes...would probably be a good idea to register anyway if your eligible.

Why should there be another vote?

I don’t know if there should or shouldn’t be to be honest, just guessing (very tentatively) that there will be. Hard to be even mildly definitive about any of it, though.

I thought it was a clear choice at the referendum

Ah, not Dodgy Dave’s finest hour it has to be said. I guess you either accept things have changed since the referendum or alternatively, if the pm’s deal isn’t what you signed up for either, then the only satisfactory option is no deal and i don’t see any obvious reason why that couldn’t happen at this stage.
