Easy now sunshine! Do you think laxman is some two bob dodgy dealer? He's a strictly legit second hand goods purveyor. He stocks fully legit copies of the Out of Control demos as supplied to him by the king of the deals Mr. Bernard Rhodes of CtC enterprises ltd.101Walterton wrote: ↑19 Oct 2018, 7:48pmHow much for one flannel?
Nice work Marky. What's a Green Lone? It does look like that's what it says.Marky Dread wrote: ↑21 Oct 2018, 6:25pmThe Marky Dread detective agency stumbled upon this. A letter regarding a tape and 9 sheets of song lyrics left in a saftey deposit box at the Nat-West Bank on behalf of Joe by Julian Yewdall 4/9/75.
I think the tracklist reads as the following :
1. Motor Boys Motor
2. Steamguage 99
3. Green Lone
4. Keys to Your Heart
5. Gyrate to the Rythym
6. Mr Sweety of St Moritz
7. Bo Diddley 6 Gun Blues
8. Standing by a Silent Telephone
So that's three tracks none of us have heard and possibly different versions of some we have.
I've blown up the image and if you look closely you can see a little flick tail which I now think is not a 'G' but a 'Q' and it's probably Queen not Green. So the title may be Queen Love or Lone. Queen Lone meaning a lonely Queen perhaps. Anyways open to other suggestions. I wonder if it's about the Lonely Queen : see below.laxman wrote: ↑21 Oct 2018, 6:32pmNice work Marky. For you, probably.
But he is also consistent with his capital letters for every song title why not that one?Marky Dread wrote: ↑22 Oct 2018, 12:26amIt's Gyrate with a 'y'.101Walterton wrote: ↑21 Oct 2018, 10:39pmThat is a G? No it's not a 'G' mate, I thought the same initally. If you look carefully at the line you can see the tail of a 'Q'. Also if you look at the 'G' you can see the curve goes further over the stem.
He's far from consistent if you look closer.101Walterton wrote: ↑22 Oct 2018, 12:32amBut he is also consistent with his capital letters for every song title why not that one?Marky Dread wrote: ↑22 Oct 2018, 12:26amIt's Gyrate with a 'y'.101Walterton wrote: ↑21 Oct 2018, 10:39pmThat is a G?
