Wilderness Years - vote your top 3

I loaded up my training iPod with only Wilderness and Meskues stuff. Some observations.
Dumdum Club is under rated and only got 2 votes on the poll.
Return of the Blues Cowboy is a belter and if I voted again might even put it first. Probably helped by the great sound / production. I presume it was produced by Jools Holland?

You know i wish Joe had gone completely against the clash sound like Mick did as i think it would have been a lot better for him

I actually really liked those songs i don't know what happened though when they got to the studio. I have said this before and ill say it again. So going by occams razor (the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected). the simplest solution is the right one - i can only think sabotage

I wish there was more of Mick in the Love Kills mix.

I'm embarrassed to say but I've tried many times and I can never make out Mick's voice in Love Kills.

I think just like most of the guitar it was removed or buried in the mix.

I can hear Mick, especially on the later "I don't knows."

Yep, I'm sure Teddy mentioned in a earlier mix there's a lot more Mick.

Does MJ sing the "down in dixie" line as well?

Nah you misunderstood mate. I think it's both with Mick's vocal being just lower in the mix.

Just two years late

Island Hopping was a favorite for many years (it particularly stuck with me when bouncing between Taiwan and Japan). Only recently did I hear the other two and watched the film. I'd never, ever known about ACBB somehow. When it came on over the credits, it blew my mind. I love Walker and most of EQW, but if picking the top three then it's gotta be those for me.

Edit: Hmm, forgot about Rose of Erin... that complicates things.
