It's from "Emmaüs Movement", a 1999 Virgin cd compilation made for the 50th anniversary of Emmaüs Movement, the solidarity-based organization created by Abbé Pierre, in France, in 1949. Recorded in Milan, as Joe sings, last time he came to play here, with the Mescaleros, December 4, 1999. In a line he sings about the Atomic bar, a great place of that time. But almost all the other bands in the cd are french (Jean-Louis Aubert, Manu Chao, Les Rita Mitsouko, Air, FFF, Rachid Taha, Les Négresses vertes, ...). Cant't wait for the September box! Ciao,
Jacopo
