Mick Jones playing acoustic guitar live with The Clash in 1979
I just saw a pic on Facebook of Mick playing an acoustic guitar on stage with The Clash in Dallas 1979. I never knew Mick played an acoustic guitar live with The Clash - which song or songs would it have been?

Looking at the review on Black Market Clash, it looks like it was for English Civil War.

That's the only one I know of. It...didn't work well.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Thanks for the info! I had no idea they had ever played English Civil War with Mick on acoustic.

Seeing as Mick had his acoustic out you'd think they could have given us a blast of Groovy Times or at least done the proper intro to Capital Radio followed by a very slick and speedy guitar swap.
