Had a listen tonight, what a great 1981 show. If only we had this on FM soundboard rather than that Bonds gig. Nice work, Marky.

Thanks again! Marky's happening remaster here exposes a bit of clubfooted-rhythm-section disease. Paul's rubbery and too well-defined bass sound and Terry's, well, rock drumming. It's really something how much better Paul sounds these days with Damon's bands. The bass run between the intro and body of Wrong 'Em Boyo here, not so much.
Of course, those issues probably sounded better in the room than exposed on tape!

Haven't heard the show yet but Joe's best live vocals were always in 1982. Was it the fixed teeth or singing lessons? It's just a shame Terry came back as he really got his shit together.
