Clash clobber poll
Was Bernie correct about them looking like twats with those trilby hats on? Did Paul's "double leather and snood" look do it for you in 1985?
Ps. Voting for 1978 is the equivalent of voting for Black Diamond by the Replacements.

76 and 77 is pretty much the same thing, right? Street punks plus the Jackson Pollock thing. Anyway, I picked '77 because punks in general looked best at the start.
Also, I vote Black Diamond by the Replacements as well as the New York Dolls.

Joe's hair looked shit in 77, 78 and 84, I had to rule those out straight away. The only real contenders are 79, 80 and 81, I plumped for the latter.

I think '76 is more Pollocked boiler suits, while '77 is more zippers and pockets on jackets and trousers, right?Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Aug 2018, 7:24pm76 and 77 is pretty much the same thing, right? I voted 1985, based solely on the homoeroticism.

Re: Clash clobber poll
It appears to refer to several garments. A quick google image search brings up some very different items. Nik Kershaw was always ridiculed in Smash Hits for wearing a snood just like Simonon's.Wolter wrote: ↑15 Aug 2018, 9:59amThat’s not what a snood is. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snood_(headgear)
