As an addition to this post, Vancouver was a backwater back in 1979. A small town of lumber, mining and a stock exchange. After The Clash came they christened a new land that became one of the most interesting cities in the world. Vancouver book ended the North American experience of The Clash. It started there in 1979 and ended with Mark II in 1984.

Many thanks for posting. - Great the 40th anniversary is being remembered in this way, new photos and the jewel the first circulating recording of the gig. The challenge now is to get the whole recording circulating- from the sound quality and performance that would be the best way to celebrate that amazing night in Vancouver 40 years ago.

I posted a note to uploader. Hopefully we can get the entire show since it is a key one that is missing.

I dug in a little more to find this:

If you seek to 6:57 there is more evidence of further recording archives.
