Topper Autobiography

Post by Heston » 02 Feb 2019, 6:47am

Coming in early 2020, and rumoured to be written with Johnny Green.

I just polished off some Low Country shrimp & grits and a mess of collards. That's a hell of a strain on the arm.

Great stuff.

I know he was a very precise drummer, is that why the list price is a very precise amount?!

This is utterly brilliant news. I’m guessing there must be quite a few blanks in toppers memory of some of the key periods but he has the right man beside him to draw them out. Can’t wait for this.

Looking forward to this. Given all evidence, Topper's perspective on the band and his role is very clear-eyed and thoughtful.

Well, he’s talking about Carbon/Silicon as a going concern in that piece so guessing it has to be minimum 6-7 years old, likely more. Round 2004/5 is when he finally kicked the addiction for good I think.
