Yeah, I'd have smacked Mick first too. Go for the low hanging fruit, hope to escape... Paul was/is a dashing sort, no wonder Patti Smith was constantly calling the pay phone at Rehearsals. I don't imagine Paul was eating poster paste when she was about... See, I have read a whole gaggle of Clash books! I blanked on the "geezer with no legs", but Lisson Grove sounds right for the dole office location. M.G.'s LGIT/RLGIT is a virtual encyclopedia of Clash info.
