Am I right in thinking this is getting released on the Strummer 001 album? I have'nt seen anything on here (I might of missed it if so)

Yes. Someone on Facebook (a journalist) has heard an advance copy and said it was unbelievable to hear Mick and Joe singing together on a completely unheard track.
I just polished off some Low Country shrimp & grits and a mess of collards. That's a hell of a strain on the arm.

Kaleb who sometimes posts on here has heard it. It got a good kicking in Allan Jones' review in Uncut.

Didn't TeddyB say that they have released the wrong version?

Not sure mate but I think one version is on the b-side of the vinyl or something.

I think it was that originally there were going to be two versions of it, one a demo on cassette, but they decided one was enough, and a demo of another song is now going to be on the cassette.

I'm still hoping to hear this version of US North before forking out for a load of unreleased demos.

Forking out for the package might give us more stuff in the future. Happy to put my hand in my pocket for this one.

Am I alone in not being able to hear Joe at all on this?

I can't either, sounds like Mick double-tracked. He did write the lyrics though.
