I always thought The Lurkers name had far more intent that any of their songs.

Saw them a few times early on and they were great fun. Nothing political or heavy just a great RAMONES style rock 'n' roll. Still enjoy those early singles....Shadow, shadow, shadow, shadow.....my hearts in the shadow....
Captain Oi!'s Peel Sessions CD is also well worth your time and trouble to track down -- all the classics are there, and the latter-era stuff is worthy, as well.

I don't know if the face is anyone actually. My mate Andy is pictured on the inner gatefold those shots were taken from Reading, Bones club.
