Rare Clash live recordings on cassettes

Post by ACMartin »

I thought that fans on this forum might like to see this: 2 cassette tape recordings of The Clash live at Bond's on Broadway (from June 9th 1981) are for sale via Omega Auctions this Friday 30th May. The recordings were taken from the sound deck so the quality is excellent.

Jesus, I thought it might be something the board could pool some cash to bid on it, but the estimate on the site is £600–800. :scared:

Meanwhile at Southeby's. . .

King Tut's body failed to sell because all the world's billionaires tapped themselves out making bids for a brown paper bag full of RARE SCOTTISH BOOTLEGS.

i'm certain thats the version i already shared with the group

i always suspected it was mixed for the COB soundtrack - can't think of any reason why they would expend so much effort trying to remix such a bad show unless there was no other option: ie: too expensive to film another night

no i don't have the files or the tape anymore, a lot of stuff has happened since then.
i share stuff with you so i don't have to care anymore after all :-)
