Is it true a rich man leads a sad life?
Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.
"Without the common people you're nothing"
Nos Sumus Una Familia

If... then what do all the poor do with their lives?
I don't have a problem with people being well rewarded for talent and creativity and hard work. I have a problem with wealthy people being rewarded for being wealthy.

Listening to Battle of All Saints Road. Wouldn't change a single thing about it.

Good god, the drums are awful. Sound like they're being played on "biscuit tin" setting on a Palitoy drum machine.MarkyJacobs wrote: ↑17 May 2017, 5:49pmListening to Battle of All Saints Road. Wouldn't change a single thing about it.
Mick's guitar is so quiet you have to wear a stethoscope to hear it.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Careful, you're getting close to "Joe would be turning in his grave" territory here.

If we are talking production then I'm with Hes. As for the track itself lyrically it's brilliant.Heston wrote: ↑17 May 2017, 5:54pmGood god, the drums are awful. Recognizing opinions and perspectives reflect particular social/economic positions isn't shaming. It's something that contextualizes opinions and perspectives.101Walterton wrote: ↑17 May 2017, 3:39pmI don't buy in to the thinking that personal wealth is something to be ashamed of. Most of us study and work hard all our lives to get ahead and achieve something yet if we do well and the financial spoils of success come with it (it's not always financial success) why should we then be embarrassed about it.

I meant personal shame not shaming others.Inder wrote: ↑17 May 2017, 7:00pmRecognizing opinions and perspectives reflect particular social/economic positions isn't shaming. Mick's favorite drum machine is Jeremy Corbyn.
