The disappointing thing about that slam is missing out on how Dusty would fuck up a 1-0 lead late. The old Expos fan in me is still kinda happy, but actually watching the games I gravitate to the Cubs.

Fuck Yeah the Cleveland Racist Logos go down!!! Now I can stop hearing about Klory Kluber.

And guess what I learned thanks to the announcers "Todd Frazier loves baseball."

If the Yankees win the world series I am going to... well, complain, I guess.

Well, a grumbled congrats to the Yankees fans here (unless Chico is lurking; fuck you, asshat). In the immediate future, go Astros; for the WS, go National League team.

edit: Yikes. The Clevelands are 0-6 in their last six clinching games … covering two series.

Names of potential candidates should emerge over the next week or two, though Abraham and a few other reporters have made some initial suggestions. Abraham lists bench coaches Alex Cora (Astros) and Ron Gardenhire (D-backs) as well as recently dismissed Tigers skipper Brad Ausmus as possibilities.

The idea of Gardenhire is scarcely worse than that of bring back Valentine. I might need a back-up team to follow if the unthinkable happens.

Going forward, my rooting interests:
Cubs > Dodgers > Astros > The Eagles > The Khmer Rouge > Skynet > Yankees

Jeez, I guess....Cubs? Astros my #2? I hate rooting for a division rival. I don't hate the Dodgers either, only their fans, they'd make it tough to live. I guess I went 1-3 in rooting interest in the divisions.

The fates haven't aligned where the Wolters can be easily hated. Thankfully the real Wolter is very easy to hate.
