I just realized Ermey was probably like 42 when Full Metal Jacket was filmed. I’m almost 42 now and he looks a thousand years older than me in that movie. Was he born 58 years old?

Wowzers. I didn't like Night Court at all—really, really obvious humour—but he was excellent on Cheers. Never saw the Dave Barry show, tho.
