Is there enough material out there to make a Specials version? Now that would be cool

Not my knowledge. A handful of stuff at best. The early Coventry Automatics demos have had many an official release.coffeepotman wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 8:50amIs there enough material out there to make a Specials version? Now that would be cool

There’s plenty of live Specials albums official, semi official and boots but What I’d like would be an album of live tracks (covers) that weren’t recorded in studio that they did on stage, songs like Madness.
Not sure there would be enough but nice to have them all in one place plus could fill it out with GON, Liquidator, Longshot and Skinhead Moonstomp.

Re: It's Madness!
The additional tracks (covers) on the TMTY EP are one of my most favourite pieces of music. Imagine a whole album of it. I love the version of Madness from the Lyceum live album.Marky Dread wrote: ↑08 Oct 2018, 9:37amNaughty boy.!101Walterton wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 10:13pmyeah that’s why I said you could use them as filler if not enough tracks.Marky Dread wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 6:21pmBut they are all officially released.101Walterton wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 2:52pmThere’s plenty of live Specials albums official, semi official and boots but What I’d like would be an album of live tracks (covers) that weren’t recorded in studio that they did on stage, songs like Madness.
