RIP Peter. I am playing this in your honour, still can't believe it wasn't a smash hit...

Loved the TV show as a kid it was essential school holiday viewing. I always presumed they got a TV show because of the band not the other way round.
They tried to do it with Madness but didn’t quite work.

I will say I once saw them live (without Mike) and it was pretty awful. They were very focused on playing more obscure album tracks despite the fact that they had more than enough hits and well known songs to sustain a really solid show.

A man who was very bad at his job. May have been a nice guy, I dunno, but he was aggressively ignorant.

There are many times where I prefer The Monkees over The Beatles. RIP Peter. I'll have to dig out my two dvd collections of the TV shows great fun.

It's coming from John Robb's Louder Than War website, usually a very reliable source

Looks like it's true what a bummer. Very young age.

Mark Hollis, the co-founder and frontman of trailblazing post-rock outfit Talk Talk, has reportedly died at the age of 64.

News of Hollis’ death was first reported by author and academic Anthony Costello, who is believed to be Hollis’ cousin-in-law. Fellow post-punk stalwarts The The subsequently shared the news via their Twitter account.
