It's better than MMB but can't touch the cinematic KISS version from Destroy Her...Marky Dread wrote: ↑01 Mar 2019, 6:18pmCollaborator.
To be honest I don't much care for either version. I will take Ska punk over Rock most days but that MMB version is just lazy the lead vocal is crap and it's only saving grace is the horns. If they had released an instrumental version it would've sounded so much better. I mean as a Ska punk band is that the best cover they could come up with? Trying to be too clever rarely works. I like some of their other stuff but that track sucks. So I thought it only fair to give credit to the original version.
This might just be the best rock version of the song. Dee Snider at least sounds like he's having fun.

Not I. I was one of the first to cast my vote for TMMB.

I fully admit my regret for pity-voting for Heston, but blame the rest of the board for not overwhelmingly putting him in his place as usual. Those of you who sat out are the real guilty parties!

KISS is playing Milwaukee tonight and my Facebook feed is full of people at the show. My god. People have awful taste in music. I mean, Heston is okay - he likes enough good music to make up for liking KISS. Just seems like too many people at the show are on social media acting like they’re about to see the second coming of John Lennon...

Anyone who voted for Heston in this is a collaborator. You should all hang. Now he’s emboldened.

You see, I knew all along that the MMB cover was bad enough to give me a chance of winning.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑01 Mar 2019, 8:33pmI fully admit my regret for pity-voting for Heston, but blame the rest of the board for not overwhelmingly putting him in his place as usual. The thing is - if someone gave me free tix I’d probably go and have fun. There is definitely a sense of musical elitism in my disdain for their Facebook posts...but after decades of holding the torch for good music I feel I’m entitled to my disdain.Heston wrote: ↑01 Mar 2019, 10:10pmI can tell you really want to be there.WestwayKid wrote: ↑01 Mar 2019, 10:07pmKISS is playing Milwaukee tonight and my Facebook feed is full of people at the show. There are a lot of KISS covers. I see many, many more polls in the future of IMCT’
