I met Buck Owens a couple times. He was a douchebag.
Also he once showed up to an anti-abortion rally in Bakersfield clearly high on cocaine. It was hilarious.
But since I'm of the Bakersfield country scene, I have to clarify that I do like the guy's music. Him and Merle Haggard are tops.
