Re: Public Image Limited

This, to me, is the sort of thing that should be released on Record Store Day, as opposed to re-releases in a different colour of vinyl. Don't worry it'll soon get re-released on coloured vinyl.😐 True, plus on CD.I had a look through the releases. There is a Demon Days era Gorillaz show from the Ma...

Re: Where have all the BOOTlegs gone...

Sounds like a great hobby. I don't have many cassettes. The first one I got was the Cleveland Agora show. Thinking back, it probably wasn't that long after the show, so must be quite an early generation tape. My other favourite cassette was a tape recording of the Rude Boy tracks from the John Peel...

A lot of mine don't have cover art though Would love to see them, are they all uploaded here? i recently found a carbon silicon cd boot that was not anywhe...

Where have all the BOOTlegs gone...

Now we have an excellent boot resource here in digital files, however all (I expect) came frome cassette bootleggers..I'm not old enough for the clash bootleg tape exchange, however I did grow up on cassette tapes (lots of vitamin b 12, if recorded with dolby b!) And have bought various bootle tapes...

Apparently I was right this "new stone" replaces the old one with the fucked up dates on!
I'm assuming this is a paving stone, right? At least looks like it from what i can see online.
Yeah a paving stone. It's apparently moved slightly and had the incorrect dates changed.

Nice find, considering how many boots are just renamed shows that are already circulating, this would be very helpful.
Yeah its a quality book, nice colour photos and enough info to "hopefully" not fall in to the trap of rebuying the same shows!

It's a good reference book by Jed on the CCC Facebook forum. He is about to release a second book covering bootleg 7" & 12" singles as well, which I have provided scans for to help him out.
Nice i shall keep my eyes peeled for that one too!

Cool. I sold the few bootlegs I had a long time ago, but I"m amazed there's still new stuff coming out.

Does it include Gerald's version of Cut the Crap?
It does indeed!

The Clash "Bootlegged" book

Received this in the post today, a very nice compendium of Clash bootleg albums on Vinyl...very handy for those like myself who end up buying the same thing with different sleeves!
