Re: Photo location

Always reminds me of the last scenes of Spinal Tap where they're also on a rooftop reception

A baseball law proven again: Never bet on post-season Showalter. Sorry, weller. You've got the earned Mets fan scar tissue to understand it all but it sucks.

I think the only team left with fans in this thread are the Yankees, no? We must all be Guardians fans now. :ugeek:

Re: Spanish Bombs Bass & Vocal Isolate

Paul on Revolution Rock and Watt-Roy on IMCT I reckon. There's certainly more fluidity on IMCT, particularly the sliding. Paul only played with a pick and NWR only played without right? Not sure if people with more astute bass ears can decipher on either track. Paul played fingerstyle on Bankrobber...

Re: Combat Rock 40th anniversary reissue coming soon?

Most here have seemed to appreciate when I pass knowledge I have on to this board. For you, that's carrying water, or close to it, as if Mick or Paul are sending me here with instructions or that they follow the discussions. Ridiculous. Basically what I said was that the group isn't going to put st...

There’s everything a Clash collector needs to know – the international rarities to track down, an updated UK discography, rare posters. Then th...

Re: The Clash Studio Logs/Sessionography

This is a useful book for reference. Got my copy of that, and, to my great surprise, a piece I wrote for a guitar mag is quoted on page 303. Chuffed to be part of Clash documentation. Ha! That's pretty nifty. My work here is done. Don't get lazy now. One page in a book ain't no War and Peace. ;) Th...

Re: ‘Sorry Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash’ Box Set

I'm loving this set. The remaster of the album isn't anything revelatory, IMO. But all those basement demos and really early stuff are just gold. And the liner notes are some of the best I've ever read in a box set of any kind. I mean it's just so deep into it, and it really compliments the tracks....
